Ben & Ben, Moira, Leanne & Naara top Awit Awards

In the online awarding ceremony of the 34th Awit Awards held last Monday, Leanne & Naara received the Album of the Year award for “Daybreak,” while Ben&Ben’s “‘Di Ka Sayang” won Record of the Year. Another top winner is Moira Dela Torre and husband Jason Marvin for Song of the Year (“Paubaya”).

“Rise,” which is the collaboration of Grammy-winning artist Eric Bellinger with Inigo Pascual, Sam Concepcion, Moophs, Zee Avi and composer Vince Nantes, won Best Global Recording. Keiko Necesario (“Right Next to You”) and Sam Mangubat (“Kulang ang Mundo”) won Best Performance by a Female and Male Recording Artist, respectively. IV of Spades (“Sariling Multo”) won Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist.

Jr Crown and Kevin Yadao for Best Collaboration; JM Bales and KVN for Best New Artist in a Collaboration. Three new artists won Best Performance by a New Recording Artist: Fana for “Out,” Matty Juniosa for “Sayaw ng mga Tala,” and Nameless Kids for “Outlaws.” Bea C won Best Child Recording Artist. Four Corners MNL won Best Instrumental Performance.
