Reservations are encouraged. Tel. 88008080; email guestservices@codmanila.com; visit cityofdreamsmanila.com

Just in time for the holidays, Nobu Manila’s sought-after Sunday Brunch returns this month with the new-style Japanese cuisine globally popularized by the legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Diners get to savor a different culinary journey each Sunday of the month with varying menu highlights from Dec. 5 to Jan. 2, 2022, for P2,950 net per person.

Aside from indoor dining, the restaurant has tropical-themed patio and floating cabanas for alfresco dining for families with children and seniors, regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with prevailing alert level 2 dining guidelines.

The mix includes kushiyaki or grilled skewered seafood, a carving item which varies each week (dry aged ribeye, kurobuta porchetta, salmon fillet, whole Wagyu leg or shichimi-crusted ribeye). For variety, different rice and specialty dishes are offered weekly to complement the salads and soups.

Diners choose their preferred dishes from the display counter. They are then prepared fresh and served on mini plates and Japanese cups or in family-style plating should guests prefer sharing. From an a la carte menu, diners can add dishes like Wagyu pastrami with ube shokupan sliders, black cod miso on butter lettuce, Wagyu sliders with bao

buns, and grilled baby octopus with anticucho sauce. Brunch includes mocktails, chilled juices, soda, tea or coffee.

Nobu also introduces touches of local flavors like Nobu-style Wagyu sisig, Nobu-style kurobuta pork sisig, and Nobu-style salmon tinapa (smoked fish) fried rice.

Nobu Sunday Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For the rest of the week, Nobu Manila offers an a la carte, and eight-course signature Omakase menus for dinner, 5-10 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

With the Safety Seal certification issued to City of Dreams Manila, the restaurant can seat maximum 60-percent capacity for indoor dining, and 80 percent for dining alfresco.
