Best friend and beau leave clueless actress in the romantic lurch

While Backhanded Raven (BR) has successfully created a fun and relatable image that won her new fans, the actress has had her share of batty moments.

During her younger years, BR fell in love with an actor who was then already taken. And so BR sought her friend Reassuring Ally (RA) for advice about how to proceed with her love affair.

“I’m entertaining someone right now, but there’s a catch—he already has a girlfriend,” BR told RA. “What should I do?”

RA told BR that if the man really loves her, he would be honest with his girlfriend, admit that he’s seeing someone else and leave her. BR appreciated RA’s counsel and set off.

But before long, RA found herself heartbroken, after her boyfriend called it quits with her from out of nowhere. And while it wasn’t immediately apparent, the situation eventually started making sense.

As it turned out, the “catch” BR was referring to was none other than RA herself, who felt blindsided by BR’s audacity to ask for her advice, knowing fully well that it was her boyfriend BR

was trying to get. With friends like this, who needs enemies? Ouch.
