Superman’s best friend to the rescue in ‘DC League of Super-Pets’

Meet Krypto, Superman’s best friend, in Warner Bros. Pictures’ animated feature film “DC League of Super-Pets,” set to open in Philippine cinemas on July 27.

Krypto can fly and has X-ray vision, “freeze” breath and superhearing, just like his two-legged Kryptonian counterpart. But the mutts at the dog park aren’t feeling his whole vibe. When his bestie and the rest of the Justice League need his help, Krypto mysteriously finds himself stripped of his otherworldly abilities.

To save the superheroes, Krypto will have to learn to be a normal dog, with some help from a motley crew of shelter pets newly infused with powers of their own. And he’ll have to get his nose dirty, literally.

Dwayne Johnson stars as the voice of Krypto. The film’s other voice actors include Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Marc Maron and Keanu Reeves. Join the conversation online by using the hashtag #DCSuperPets.
