KUWAIT CRIME VICTIM

—NIÑO JESUS ORBETA

The casket bearing the remains of slain overseas Filipino worker Jullebee Ranara arrives at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Friday. The burned body of the 35-year-old domestic worker was found a week ago in the Kuwaiti desert, and the media there has reported autopsy results showing that she was pregnant and had been raped. The Department of Migrant Workers has sent a team to the Middle East country to further determine the circumstances of her case.
