The do-everything komiks workshop remains busy with seven titles due this year: “The Fireflies of Crimson Ashes” by RH Quilantang; “Lalang Kalibutan” by Randy Valiente; “Watcha Sayin?” by CJ Reynaldo; “Sa Wala” by Ren Galeno; “Depikto” by Ruvel Abril; “Crime Fighting Call Center Agents” by Noel Pascual and AJ Bernardo; and “Blight” by Yuri Pinzon. Philippines through Komiket, will be having a booth in the 50th Edition of the Angouleme International Comics Festival on June 26 to June 29, with five comics anthologies that are competing for the Alternative Comics Award at the festival. Also a first time for the Philippines to compete for this prestigious award.
