Cybersecurity award for Aboitiz

Endika Aboitiz is all smiles these days and not just because of the steps that the Aboitiz Group is taking for long-term growth.

Another reason is that cybersecurity firm BlueVoyant won the MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) of the Year award during the recent Microsoft Security Excellence Awards 2023.

BlueVoyant’s achievements and track record helped it rise to the top of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, an ecosystem of software vendors and MSSPs that have integrated their security products and services with Microsoft’s security technology. BlueVoyant’s expertise is made available in the Philippines through BlueVoyant Philippines that Aboitiz chairs.

The Philippine unit of the award-winning cybersecurity company was incorporated in 2019 to help improve the cyber defenses of local firms in key sectors such as banking, insurance, fintech, energy and utilities.

On the award, Aboitiz, who also chairs the Aboitiz Group, said: “BlueVoyant Philippines is dedicated to raising the bar of Philippine companies on cybersecurity and provide local businesses with access to advanced cyber defenses previously only available to the largest and well-funded institutions.”

“I am delighted that Microsoft has recognized the work BlueVoyant does around the globe to enhance organizations’ cyber defense posture and that we can bring our award winning services to improve the security awareness of local enterprises,” he added.
